Nutella, Hazelnut & Banana Crepe Torte

Raise your hand if you love CREPES….
Now raise your hand if you love NUTELLA CREPES…..
….just as I suspected…..lots of Nutella & crepes lovers out there…..
Me and Nutella go way…..way…..way….back.

I remember as a little girl eating Nutellaright from the jar with the biggest spoon I could find (who am I kidding….I still do that).Crepes….similar story…. 




Last week I gave into my Nutella Crepes cravings, but…….I decided to make something different…. to shake things up….something like….TORTE….a torte using fresh crepes……Nutella……roasted hazelnuts and bananas.


Let me tell you… was the BOMB……..the bomb, I tell you….Delicious, sinful, divine, chocolatey, crunchy and sweet  all in one bite.

To start this sinful Nutella, Hazelnut & Banana Crepe Torte make 5 crepes using your favorite crepe recipe or you can use my crepe recipe.
Nutella, Hazelnut & Banana Crepe Torte




  • 5 – 8″ Crepes
  • Nutella Hazelnut Spread
  • 1 cup Roasted Hazelnuts (chopped)
  • 2-3 Bananas (sliced)
STEP 1: On the plate place first crepe and spread a layer of Nutella.

STEP 2: Sprinkle 1/5 of the roasted hazelnuts.

STEP 3: Spread banana slices and top with another crepe.

STEP 4: Repeat the layers till the last crepe. Spread some Nutella on top, sprinkle rest of the hazelnuts and decorate with leftover bananas.
STEP 5: Cover the torte and let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight before serving.


How To Roast Hazelnuts:  Spread hazelnuts in jelly roll pan and roast for 15 minutes at 120C. Rub the roasted hazelnuts in a tea towel to remove the skin if you prefer skinless hazelnuts.
