Raspberry Truffle Brownies



Last night I hosted our annual THANKSGIVING DINNER….

As usual it was a huge success….great company…..great food…lots of love and fun….the only thing missing was my wonderful husband who’s working hard far away from home and couldn’t make it….(72 days and counting till his arrival)

Anyway……part of my Thanksgiving dinner or any special dinner is a decadent dessert…..

This year I decided to treat my family and friends with RASPBERRY TRUFFLE BROWNIES beside the usual Pumpkin Pie.

I am not a big brownie eater, but I had to keep these Raspberry Truffle Brownies out if my sight otherwise there would be nothing to share.








  • 4 oz Unsweetened Chocolate Squares
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/3 cup Raspberry Jam
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Whipping Cream
  • 3 Tbsp Raspberry Jam
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 6 oz Semi-sweet Chocolate Squares (chopped)

STEP 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

STEP 2: In a saucepan combine unsweetened chopped chocolate squares, butter and raspberry jam. Stir it over low heat until smooth.

STEP 3: In a large bowl beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and chocolate mixture. Gradually add the flour until blended. Do not over mix.

STEP 4: Pour the batter evenly into greased 9 x13″ pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool in the pan.

STEP 5: Meanwhile in a saucepan combine cream, jam and butter. Let it heat till simmer. Keep stirring until melted. Add the chopped semi-sweet chocolate and stir on low heat till almost smooth. Remove from the heat and keep stirring till smooth. Let it cool for about 30 minutes.

STEP 6: Spread over the brownie. Chill before cutting.

Tip: You can decorate Raspberry Truffle Brownies with fresh raspberries and make it a really special and decadent dessert.
