Banana Bundt Cake



Well, I am baaaaack!!!……AGAIN…..

Did you miss me? I hope so cause I missed you all….

It’s been 4 months since my little boy’s accident and everytime I think it’s getting better we come to a roadblock….so it was just a matter of time till mama bear a.k.a. me will have some sort of breakdown….or depression if you will….

Luckily, modern science provided temporary help….or what my kids got to know as Mommy’s Happy Pills and I am ready conquer the world…..once again!

Despite my little roadblock I have been busy in the kitchen keeping my mind occupied so you will be happy to know that I have an AWESOME line-up of recipes ready to share with you for at least couple months.





One of the first recipes I want to share with is BANANA BUNDT CAKE…..when I made it first time for my kids it was a huge hit so I figured this Bundt Cake would be perfect Coming Back treat to share.

  • 2 Medium Bananas
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Butter (softened)
  • 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Pkg. Vanilla Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa

STEP 1: Preheat oven to 300F. Grease & flour bundt cake form.

STEP 2: In a small bowl mashed bananas.

STEP 3: Divide egg yolks from egg whites.

STEP 4: Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks one at the time.

STEP 5: In another whisk together flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Slowly beat into cake batter together with mashed bananas.

STEP 6: Beat egg whites until firm. Slowly mix into cake batter only until well blended.

STEP 7: Pour 3/4 of banana cake batter into well greased and floured bundt cake form.

STEP 8: Mix cocoa powder with remaining banana cake batter and pour it on top.

STEP 9: Bake 50-60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

STEP 10: Allow to cool down for 10 minutes then remove bundt cake from the pan and allow to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving it.
