Sour Cream & Mushroom Pork Chops





This recipe was adapted from Cookin’ Lean Like Paula Deen – Paula Deen’s Lean Sour Cream Pork Chops


I did follow the original recipe however it did not look anything like the picture and I was not happy with the final dish so I have do make some changes …… make it mine ….





  • 4 Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 Sweet Onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup Low Sodium Beef Broth
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 8 oz  Fat Free Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Flour
  • 1 cup Mushrooms (sliced)

STEP 1: Spray skillet with olive oil cooking spray and place on the stove over medium heat.

STEP 2: Place pork chops into heated skillet and  fry on each side for 4 minutes. Cover pork chops with sliced onions and mushrooms.

STEP 3: In a bowl mix together beef broth, parsley, salt, pepper, mustard and paprika. Pour the mixture over pork chops & onions.

STEP 4: Bring it to boil then reduce to medium heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes while stirring occasionally.

STEP 5: In a small bowl mix together sour cream and flour. Add it to pork chops and cook for another 5 minutes.
