Today the entire culinary community is celebrating what would be 100th Birthday of culinary icon….cooking pioneer….extraordinary woman….JULIA CHILD!

First time I heard about Julia was in my 20′s after I came to Canada….I watched few of her cooking shows and I was hooked….

….I saw myself little bit in Julia…..my love of cooking came from my love of eating…..sharing meal with family & friends was and is one of the most important things in my life…..

….I was always an odd duck….living in my own world…..

…so when I saw this tall woman with strange voice & odd humor cooking delicious meals…..

….I was instantly drawn to her…. her enthusiast….her presence….her don’t-care-what-they-think attitude

I loved Julia Child well before the movie Julie & Julia, but when I saw the movie I learned more about her life I was her fan and follower forever.

So in honor of Julia’s 100th Birthday I decided to spotlight few recipes of her that are my favorite…..
