Where there is a will ….. there is a way ….. so today I am bringing you my version of BACON WRAPPED CHEESE TATER TOTS with Sweet Chili Pepper Dip
This recipe makes 24 Bacon Wrapped Cheese Tater Tots and was adapted from original recipe by Recipe Girl.
- 24 Tater Tots
- 12 Bacon Strips
- 24 Havarti Chunks (about 1/2″ x 1/4″)
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Pepper Sauce
- Toothpick (soaked in water)
STEP 1: Remove tater tots from the freezer and allow them sit in room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Just enough to be able make a slit in them.
STEP 2: Preheat oven to 450F.
STEP 3: Cut bacon strips in halves.
STEP 4: Insert piece of cheese inside slit of each tater tot.
STEP 5: Wrap tater tots tightly in bacon strips and secure with toothpick. Place them on jelly roll pan.
STEP 6: Bake for 15 minutes. Broil on low for 3-5 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
STEP 7: Mix sour cream with Sweet Chili Pepper sauce and serve with Bacon Wrapped Cheese Tater Tots while they’re still warm.
