S’mores – New Winter Holiday Treat

Indoor S’mores – New Holiday Treat

Hello, my fellow food lovers!

Have you noticed how S’MORES  also known as the American classic summer childhood treat are becoming new holiday treat?

I’ve been noticing many foodies …. bakers …. moms are turning S’mores into holiday cookies …. treats … cakes.

I had to find a way How To …… bring S’mores  into my kitchen ….. my way.

Graham crackers with melted marshmallows and chocolate done indoors & without sticky mess.

Last night I was making Sweet Table for  Sonora Center Annual Christmas Family Fun Night and I thought how cool would it be to include some S’mores Treats.

…. it took some thinking ….. some testing ….. few over-melted marshmallows ….. then it just all came together and indoor S’mores were ready to be enjoyed by all the little ones and their parents.

At the end it was very simple …… very quick and they disappeared within minutes …… everyone was asking for S’mores

….. the best part ….. no baking ….. no mixing …. no oven. You can have plate of  S’mores ready in under a minute ….. how cool is that?

  • 12 Graham Crackers (regular S’mores size)
  • 6 Large Marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate (chopped)

STEP 1: Cut marshmallows into halves.

STEP 2: Place graham crackers onto microwavable plate. Place half of marshmallow in the middle of each cracker.

STEP 3: Microwave until marshmallows double in size (don’t let them over expand). This should take under 20 seconds.

STEP 4: Sprinkle chocolate chunks on top of melted marshmallows.

I love s’mores! We actually build bonfires over Christmas with my family. And now that I am home, Lukus wants to build even more of them. However, I am not a fan of the cold, so indoor s’mores are much more my speed.
