It’s that time of month again ….. time for Surprise Recipe Swap (SRS) ….. time to reveal my surprise foodie partner ….. & the recipe I picked to recreate.

Jutta has so many wonderful recipes ….. real mix of decadent ….. comfort ……. & healthy dishes.
It was so hard to pick just one, but since my hubby is leaving tomorrow I wanted to make him something special to take with him.
Due to the nature of his job sometimes he is stuck in the middle of nowhere for hours without decent meal so when I came across
Jutta’s NO BAKE PROTEIN PB2 ENERGY BARS I knew I had a winner ….
I made few changes ….. since I didn’t have any PB2 I used Organic Peanut Butter …… instead of Truvia I used Organic Agave Nectar …. instead of chocolate chips I used unsweetened cranberries ….
I had to play a bit with the amount of ingredients because I was also making more PROTEIN ENERGY BARS …..
….. in the end I ended up with fantastic No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Energy Bars ….. thank you, Jutta.
This recipe was adapted from Hungry Little Girl No Bake Protein PB2 Energy Bars.
- 3 1/2 cups Quick Oats
- 3 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 Small Bananas (mashed)
- 1/4 cup Organic Agave Nectar
- 1/2 Organic Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened Cranberries
- 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate (optional)
STEP 1: In a large bowl mix together all ingredients except dark chocolate.
STEP 2: Press evenly into 9″x13″ pan lined with wax paper. Cool overnight in the fridge.
STEP 3: Cut into individual bars and drizzle with dark chocolate.
STEP 4: Place into airtight container & store in the fridge.
