Banana Nutella Bonbons

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

It’s a beautiful Tuesday morning here in the sunny Okanagan & I am so blessed to be living here …… & so grateful for all of you …. my readers …. friends … food buddies.

Last night I was teasing my facebook followers with my new invention …. BANANA NUTELLA BONBONS

… little Banana Bites filled with Nutella & dipped in Chocolate …..

…. little decadent & sinful gems that popped into my head while I was trying to figure our how to use jar of NUTELLA before its  expiry date.

Of course, I had to try to make few BANANA NUTELLA BONBONS so we can test them after dinner.

Banana Nutella Bonbons

Unlike other recipes I knew I had a winner with this one ….. BANANA …. NUTELLA ….. CHOCOLATE …… it was no brainer.

The hardest part of BANANA NUTELLA BONBONS was to figure out how to stuff Banana with Nutella ….. after that it was smooth sailing to Victoryville.

Are you ready to find out how I did it?

I am warning you …. once you make these BANANA NUTELLA BONBONS

you will be hooked & eventually we will have to start a support group.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!

STEP 1: Slice bananas into 11/2″ thick slices. Using apple corer remove the middle of each slice.

STEP 2: Fill each banana slice middle with Nutella. Place into freezer for at least 2 hours.

STEP 3: Melt chocolate in the microwave or over double boiler until it is dipping consistency.

STEP 4: Using two spoons dip banana pieces in melted chocolate and place onto wax paper to harden.

You can also roll BANANA NUTELLA BONBONS in crushed nuts or coconut after dipping them in chocolate.

I just ran out of time with this first batch.
